Food destinations in Bhubaneswar

Hello people.

I’m Satabdi Panigrahi, an engg Student living  in Bhubaneswar. I’m from Rayagada. A small and beautiful town in the southernmost part of Odisha.

So it’s been a long time since I’ve been planning to make my first blog post. Seems like the wait’s over. And finally, here I am , writing my first blog.

Fashion ,travel, lifestyle ,makeup. Various ideas came up but then I settled down with this (food comes first anyway😂😂😂) one because what’s better than revealing my secret food destinations in the city I currently reside in.  It’s even better when all of them are pocket friendly. So this one’s for all the college students and foodies out there ,here goes the list :

1.Chicken Biryani at Eat  Street, patia

This is a small restaurant in infocity road which offers delicious chicken biryani with the south Indian flavor and touch.  Costs 100 bucks for half a plate and 140 bucks for full plate.  Totally worth a try if you are a biryani lover. (warning :The taste is inconsistent.)

2.Irani chai:

There’s  this place in infocity road called tea cube. It’s a vendor  store which offers a variety of chai. One of which is Irani chai. Definitely  the best according to me outta all other flavors. Costs 10 bucks per cup and probably the best chai in the city.

3.Bagan café :

Situated at the outskirts of the city. Nandankanan road to be precise. Small  coffee and tea shop. They  offer coffee in a Plastic cup which looks like a mathka. It not only looks impressive but tastes amazing too. The open sky and location adds up to the taste of the coffee. Costs 10 bucks per cup.

4.The chicken dynasty :

Also known as TCD.  Near chandrashekharpur petrol pump. Offers delicious food  for chicken lovers. The most tempting item here according to me is Drums of Heaven and of course  chicken popcorn with mayo dip.

5.Hotel Abhiruchi :

Situated in Niladri Vihar.  Pocket friendly  veg restaurant . must visit for south Indian food lovers. Idli sambhar, vada, south Indian thali and upma are the highlights of this place.

6.Hotel jungle view:

Located at the city outskirts. Near nandankanan road. The bamboo chicken here is a must try for all chicken lovers.

7.Mamma Mia Mayfair

Since it’s a bakery ,I’ll be suggesting the best pastry out there.Chessboard pastry is my fav. Costs around 80 excluding tax. Tastes yum.

8.Stalls near Ram Mandir (ekamra):

Destination for street food lovers in the city. Urban flavours  vendor is my personal favorite.

9.Kolkata Rolls :

Situated in acharya vihar ,near sainik school. Has a wide range of mocktails and mojitos starting from Rs.30 itself. Worth a try.

10.Narula’s Restaurant  :

It’s a north Indian restaurant in Ashok nagar. Serves good Indian food.  Narula’s special  kurkure is definitely worth a try if you wanna taste something different and delicious. Costs Rs.300 excluding tax.  Looks amazing.  Tastes yum.

So these were few of all the amazing and luscious food items I’ve tried in bbsr and loved.Hope you pay a visit and try these too. Reviews and Suggestions for next blog are welcome.

PS : The numbering  is randomly done
